In 2008 the household division remained stable in Germany; the bathroom furniture division made a plus of about 20 %.

A strong growth is expected from the completely new range of products for professional kitchens in hotels, restaurants and catering facilities (HORECA).

Due to company acquisitions in the Asia-Pacific region a continuous increase in turnover is expected for the upcoming years; the management is aiming at a sales target of 300 Mio euros for the next years.

FACKELMANN has prepared itself for the future by investing in buildings, machines, logistics and information technology.

In 2009 the baking mould manufacturer ZENKER commissioned a new hall with 56.000 ccm of enclosed area as production and logistics complex in Aichach, new buildings in Spain and Italy are under construction and high investments were also undertaken in the machinery and the infrastructure in the plastic production as well as in the bathroom furniture production in Hersbruck.

The household goods specialist is convinced of being able to benefit from the fact that especially in difficult times people tend to cook and bake at home more often and that the "homing" trend will have a positive effect on the sales of bathroom furniture.
